HORISEKIRYU
Raised in Vancouver, BC, from a young age, Horisekiryu was deeply drawn to the artistry, discipline, and storytelling of traditional Japanese tattooing.
His passion for the craft grew through being tattooed by Horiryu I, whose mentorship would later become the foundation of his own tattooing journey.
In 2020, Horisekiryu began his tattoo apprenticeship under Horiryu I in Vancouver BC, dedicating himself to preserving the deep roots and timeless traditions of Japanese tattooing.
Each tattoo is approached with respect, humility, and a commitment to excellence, reflecting gratitude toward the craft and the generations of artists who came before.
From humble beginnings, Horisekiryu continues to refine his art with patience and sincerity, ensuring that every project receives his best effort and full attention.
Currently working by appointment at, Strictly Tattoo, in Vancouver BC, Horisekiryu provides a focused and comfortable environment for clients seeking meaningful, authentic traditional Japanese tattoos.
